After a week of rest, I did my first post half-marathon run today. I did an easy 7k run and it felt good. I'm glad to back into running. It felt odd not having to run right after work all week. I'm also excited about my new interim running program. I have a 6 week program which will tide me over until the marathon training begins. It's nice because I've added some cross-training and strength training which I haven't done in quite some time.
I also have my first Team Diabetes meeting on Tuesday in Halifax. I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting some more of my team members.
